What is SPF?
Sun Protection Factor, or SPF, is a measure of how well a sunscreen will protect skin from UVB rays.

UVB is the kind of radiation that causes sunburn, damages skin, and potentially contribute to skin cancer.

What is PA+++?

PA+ means your sunscreen or cosmetic provides some protection against UVA rays, PA++ provides moderate protection, and PA+++ offers the best protection of the three.

Being PA+++ certified, Infinite Sunscreen also provides you with high protection against UVA rays.

UVA rays are usually linked to long-term skin damage such as wrinkles, and skin browning, but they are also thought to play a role in some skin cancers.

How to Use

Being rated SPF40 and PA+++ means that Infinite Suncreen provides 97.5% protection against UVB and High UVA protection.

Application:As a guideline, Sunscreens are effective for around 2 hours, and should be reapplied to ensure maximum protection.

Use on all parts of your skin exposed to the sun, including the ears, back, shoulders, and the back of the knees and legs.

Apply thickly and thoroughly.

Be careful when applying sunscreen around the eyes.

Q: What is SPF and how does it work?

A: SPF stands for sun protection factor and is a measure of the sunscreen’s ability to protect your skin from UVB rays. Dermatologists recommend using a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30, which blocks 97% of the sun’s UVB rays.

*No sunscreen can block 100% of the sun’s UVB rays.

Q: What is PA+++ and how does it work?

A: PA (Protection Grade of UVA rays) indicates the level of protection from UVA rays. Hence, PA+++ provides excellent UVA protection.

Q: What are UVA/UVB rays and how is it harmful?

A: UVA rays has longer wavelength and it penetrates the inner cells in the top layer of the skin, including dermis. It contributes to hyperpigmentation, premature aging, wrinkles and risk of skin cancer.

UVB rays has shorter wavelength and is the cause for sunburn.

Q: What is Blue Light (HEV) and how it damages your skin?

A: Blue light is a color in the visible light spectrum that can be seen by human eyes. Blue light is a short wavelength, which means it produces higher amounts of energy.

Blue light is everywhere in our world. It used to be that the only source of blue light was from the sun. Now we have brought blue light inside by way of digital screens (found on TVs, Smartphones, computers, laptops, tablets and gaming systems), electronic devices, LED and fluorescent lighting. Studies have shown that Blue Light induces oxidative stress in live skin. This can contribute to skin aging as it has the ability to penetrate deeper into the skin compared with both UVA and UVB light. It causes hyperpigmentation, redness and inflammation. It also stimulates the production of free radicals in skin, which can accelerate the appearance of aging.
